Until there’s beaming there’s BAUBERGER

Strong growth over the last few years had brought COMET Group’s production site in Flamatt to the limits of its capacity. A building extension, carried out in mid-2018, expanded the production area by 20,000 m². BAUBERGER was assigned the job of relocating the entire parts production and generator assembly areas again, after having been responsible for the relocation into the new plant back in 2002/2003 already. In a total of ten stages, with up to eight employees, innumerable machines, machine equipment and workshop facilities were brought into the extension.

The larger machines were transported through the front of the old location directly onto a truck trailer, which was led round to the new building via forklift truck and then the machines were brought through the front into the new building directly from the bridge of the trailer. At the new location, the machines were positioned according to the customers’ defined layout and attached to the workshop floor where necessary.
