Until the end of the 1980s, KADI was also known as an instant potato factory. It was founded in 1951 in Langenthal and today is an innovative manufacturers of frozen potato products and other frozen specialty foods.
The production French fry plant was put into service in 1983. For 34 years, it dependably dried, deep-fat fried, de-fatted, cut and froze countless potatoes. Now, the French fry machine has completed its service and entered its well-deserved retirement.
Bauberger AG dismantled the 88.8t production plant, transported it away and disposed of it. Following soil remediation, the new ultra-modern plant was delivered in 17 truckloads. A pneumatic crane, various forklifts and lifting columns put the plant into place inside, assembled and installed it and then leveled it.
“The work proceeded briskly thanks to Bauberger AG,” beamed Peter Büeler, Head of Engineering. “We are very satisfied with the performance of the entire team.”
