A heavy machine, a roof top, and the “Gut” clinic

After a 20-year search for a new location, the Klinik Gut will open it’s new hospital in St. Moritz in late autumn 2023. Our job for Bimex was to deliver the 5.2-ton emergency power generator and install it on the roof.

After the snowfall the day before, the Julier Pass was free of snow again when we arrived in the sunny Engadine with our truck crane and the emergency power system. With our truck crane, we lifted the unit onto the roof, pushed it into the machine room, and lowered it by 60cm onto it’s machine feet. After all the additional equipment was installed, positioned, and mounted, we returned back to the lowlands again.
