Several decades ago, the 30-tonne Schuler press came through the roof into the factory building of Heggli & Gubler AG in Muri (AG). Today, it was time to take the press out of the production hall. Since opening the roof would have been too expensive, the press had to be brought out of the hall lying on its side through the gate.
In combination with our 90t lifting system as well as the Montylift-36, we laid down the press with millimeter precision between the other production facilities, the roof, and the wall. After all the oil had drained out of the machine, we loaded it on a truck – ready to move it to its final destination.
