The ground-breaking ceremony in Winterthur-Wülflingen in 2017 marked the beginning of a new chapter in the history of OKEY AG. The merging of the three locations in Zurich-Seebach, Triesen and Bülach into the new company headquarters in Winterthur-Wülflingen began in 2018.
Before moving the existing inventory, three new large-scale processing machines were installed in the new facility. The BAUBERGER team then extracted the 50 machine tools and systems from the old locations, each weighing up to 30 tons, loaded them and transported them to the new locations. In Winterthur-Wülflingen they were unloaded, brought in, positioned, anchored and levelled.
“Thanks to optimal planning between BAUBERGER and OKEY and to the provided relocation resources, we were able to achieve the move right on schedule,” said a satisfied Luzi Bonifazi, Managing Director of OKEY.
